The 5 Best Pilates Studios in Winnipeg That Make Fitness Feel More Fun and Refreshing
I don’t know how people do it, but working out has always been a struggle for me. Each time I try to make it a habit, I end up being inconsistent and running out of motivation.
But every year that I get older, I keep being more and more afraid that if I don’t start soon, I might never will. So when one of my friends suggested pilates, I immediately jumped on the opportunity.
To my surprise, it was more intense than anything I’ve ever tried — and also the most satisfying. I was hooked after the first session.
I was lucky enough to find an amazing pilates studio in Winnipeg, but according to my classmates, they’re not all great. A lot of them are duds, but I can guarantee that the ones in this list are more than worth it.
How much does doing pilates cost in Winnipeg?
In Winnipeg, doing pilates typically costs around $20 to $100 per session. The final rate will depend on the type of class you participate in, the length of your session, and whether you have a membership or not.
1. Altea Active Winnipeg

Address: Bridgwater Centre, 100 S Town Rd
Phone: +1 204 221 3135
Business Hours:
- Monday to Friday – 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM
- Saturday to Sunday – 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM
With over 200 classes every week, you’ll definitely find a workout that works for you at Altea Active Winnipeg. Their instructors offer varying levels of difficulty, depending on factors like age, medical history, and experience.
When it comes to pilates, you can choose between Mat Pilates for basic core exercises or Reformer Pilates if you want something more challenging and diverse. Both are available in private, semi-private, or group settings.
Once you finish a session, we highly recommend taking advantage of their wellness facilities, like the sauna and sound bath. Trust us, it’s a great way to decompress and rejuvenate after an intense session.
But we should probably warn you: unlike other cities that have multiple locations, this is their only studio in Winnipeg, which means that it sees a lot of foot traffic. As a result, it’s common to see out-of-order equipment and features here and there.
Joining is one of the best things you can do for your mind and body
“This is the one of the best gyms because it offers a variety of classes included in your membership such as barre, yoga, pilates, etc. A big shout out to Alexa K who teaches barre. She is kind, works with you to get the full benefit of the exercise, and accommodates for different levels. Overall, joining Altea is one of the best things you can do for your mind and body.”

A place with great energy, professional service, and a true sense of community
“My husband and I have really enjoyed our experience at Altea Active! The gym provides a fantastic range of services, including my favorite hot yoga, hot Pilates, and antigravity classes, along with the gym floor and pool — all exceptionally well organized. The atmosphere is friendly, the space is spotless, and the equipment and facilities are top-notch. Special thanks to Kaelah, who made our initial experience smooth and enjoyable. She took the time to guide us, provided helpful advice, and continues to check in to ensure we’re making the most of our membership. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a place with great energy, professional service, and a true sense of community.”

2. Club Pilates

Address: 2025 Corydon Ave #180B
Phone: +1 431 831 2311
Business Hours:
- Monday, Wednesday – 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- Tuesday, Thursday – 6:30 AM to 8:30 PM
- Friday – 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Saturday to Sunday – 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
If you’ve never tried it before, then Club Pilates is the way to go. Their intro class is completely free and will guide you through the basic poses and how to do them with the equipment available.
From there, you’ll have the chance to work your way up the different levels of their sessions, starting with ‘Foundation’ until complete ‘Mastery’. Their teachers will be there for every step, ready to make adjustments when something is too challenging.
As you unlock each difficulty, you’ll also have access to more and more specific courses. For example, only those who have reached the final step can participate in their F.I.T. class, which involves high-intensity Pilates-based strength exercises.
To our surprise, though, it seems that this place is so popular that slots fill up fast, with their Level 1 class even having a waitlist. But then again, it’s hard to find another studio with such an encouraging community of clients.
I thank all the instructors here for their care and technique training
“Club Pilates is fantastic! After spending 2 plus years trying to recover from a severe sciatica issue, i am finally getting away from daily pain by regularly attending Club Pilates for the last 3 months. I feel so strong and I thank all the instructors here for their care and technique training! Kaitlyn and Kelly just to name a few are doing a great job! Thank you Club Pilates!”

Since joining, I feel much better than ever
“I absolutely love Club Pilates! Since joining, I’ve become so much stronger and more flexible, and I feel better than ever. The workouts are challenging yet accessible, and the instructors do an incredible job of guiding and motivating everyone. The staff, management, and owner are all wonderful—welcoming, professional, and truly invested in the members’ success. What really sets this place apart, though, is the amazing sense of community. It’s so empowering to be surrounded by supportive, like-minded people who encourage each other every step of the way. If you’re looking for a fun, effective workout in a positive environment, this is the place to be!”

3. Core Centric

Address: 1700 Corydon Ave #10A
Phone: +1 204 293 3365
Business Hours:
- Monday to Tuesday, Thursday – 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- Wednesday – 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Friday – 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Saturday – 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM
- Sunday – 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Name any type of pilates class, and it’s most likely available at Core Centric. Apart from your standard Mat and Reformer classes, they also offer Cadillac Frame Pilates, Chair Pilates, and Jumpboard Pilates.
To know which one is best for you, they provide assessment appointments where you can meet an instructor and discuss your goals and preferences.
You’ll unfortunately have to be more patient after that, since they don’t allow people to join their courses immediately. Instead, customers have to attend at least 5 sessions of introductory coursework to know the basics of the workout.
But you’ll understand why that’s essential later on. Based on what we’ve heard, their teachers are so meticulous that they make sure every movement is done properly and perfectly, to ensure that you’re getting the most out of your workout.
We especially appreciate that these experts give everyone the same amount of attention, whether you’re in a private or a group class.
I really appreciate everything about this studio
“I have attended Core Centric since it opened over 5 years ago! Core Centric was my first Pilates experience and I immediately fell in love with Pilates! I really appreciate everything about this studio! Excellent instruction, the variety and excellent quality of the many pieces of equipment, the variety of classes and the physical environment. Most of all I appreciate the small size of the classes! Each client receives lots of individual attention during the class so that we can further improve the exercise! I have learned so much! I feel healthier, have a much better body awareness and am much stronger than before I began. I hope to continue taking many regular classes at Core Centric for as long as I’m able!”

I really appreciate how much personalized feedback I receive and always leave the session feeling stronger, more aligned, and inspired to keep improving. Thanks Jennifer and all Core Centric staff for creating so motivating and welcoming atmosphere!”

4. Oxygen Yoga and Fitness Linden Ridge

Address: Linden Ridge Shopping Centre, 1765 Kenaston Blvd, Unit 1
Phone: +1 204 219 9058
Business Hours:
- Monday – 6:00 AM to 7:15 PM
- Tuesday, Thursday – 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Wednesday – 6:00 AM to 7:45 PM
- Friday – 6:00 AM to 6:45 PM
- Saturday – 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM
- Sunday – 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM
Oxygen Yoga and Fitness isn’t your average yoga studio — they’re more hardcore than that. Almost all of their classes happen in a dark, candlelit room with high-octane beats playing in the background.
This creates an energetic atmosphere where you’ll certainly be motivated to participate in pilates. You get to choose between their Hot Core-lates, specifically for your core, Hot Fiit-lates, for the whole body, and Mat Pilates for strength.
Part of what makes the experience better is that everyone is so pumped to be here. They’ve got a pretty supportive community that pushes one another to do their best.
We think it’s also pretty nifty that the studio has a useful app where you can check class schedules and book a slot.
This, however, is a bit of a double-edged sword. Even though their staff answers the phone, they’re still going to try to redirect you to customer support in their app if you have any concerns.
I enjoyed my classes here
“I enjoyed my classes at Oxygen and took full advantage of the 15 day trial! My favorite classes were the Hot Candlelight Stretch and Hot Power Core! Most instructors were great, there were one or two classes where I found the instructor was unprepared. The owner is a ray of sunshine and very communicative which I appreciated! I encourage people to check it out! I’ll definitely be doing drop ins or purchase some class passes!”

A space that helps me grow stronger, feel confident, and stay happy
“I’m so grateful and happy to be a member of Oxygen Yoga & Fitness Linden Ridge! From the first day, I’ve felt loved, welcomed, and supported. The environment is full of positive energy, and everyone—teachers, staff, and students—are so kind and encouraging. A special thank you to Mica at the front counter. She’s always smiling, super helpful, and makes my day every time I walk in. Her warm energy truly adds to the beautiful atmosphere of this studio. I love my life, and being a part of this community has made it even better. Thank you to the entire team for creating a space that helps me grow stronger, feel confident, and stay happy every single day.”

5. Studio 26

Address: 1-1763 Pembina Hwy
Phone: +1 204 275 1185
Business Hours:
- Monday to Friday – 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM
- Saturday to Sunday – 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM
Studio 26 is one of the most inclusive fitness centers out there. Regardless of whether you’re a newbie or a pro, they can accommodate you and help you get better.
Their Mat Pilates class is especially flexible. Depending on your preference, you’ll be taught how to adjust certain movements to make them easier or more challenging.
For those interested, we’re happy to share that they don’t require booking in advance. When you find the time, you can just drop in 20 minutes early — so you can register and receive an orientation — and they’ll let you join a class.
Ironically, though, they’re not the most punctual studio. It’s quite normal for their classes to start a few minutes later than they’re supposed to and go past the allotted time slot.
But on the bright side, their instructors definitely make up for this. Even in group sessions, they find the opportunity to talk to each student and guide them accordingly.
It’s a beautiful facility with an even better staff
“I arrived for my first class at Studio 26 recently and was welcomed by all. It’s a beautiful facility with even better staff! I love it, am so happy to have come and have and will recommend to friends and those in need of an amazing experience :)”

Good place to clear my mind, reset, and get my sweat on
“Just started at studio 26. I love it, it’s been a week since I came to my first class and I was looking forward to my next class all week long. The front staff is nice and the instructors are patient with a newbie and accommodating. It’s nice to have an account set up for a mat rental, water, and towel services. It’s also nice to cool down with a real fruit popsicle after class. And of course as the name suggests it, it gets really hot. Good place to clear my mind, reset, and get my sweat on.”
