Things to Know about Outlet Collection Winnipeg

History

Outlet Collection Winnipeg was developed by Ivanhoe Cambridge, a major player in Canadian real estate. Notably, this fully enclosed structure became the first dedicated outlet mall in Manitoba.

Things kicked off after Winnipeg’s first IKEA opening in 2012, which sparked a retail boom in the area. Big names like Cabela’s moved in, along with restaurants, shops, and even residential developments.

Cambridge jumped on this momentum and broke ground on Outlet Collection in 2015, with a $200 million investment. The mall officially opened on May 3, 2017, drawing huge crowds and introducing 28 new stores to the city.

Opening Hours

Outlet Collection Winnipeg is open Monday to Saturday from 10 AM to 9 PM, and on Sundays from 11 AM to 6 PM. Holiday hours may vary, but you can find the most up-to-date holiday hours here.

Accessibility

There are complimentary wheelchairs, walkers, and motorized scooters available at Guest Services on a first-come, first-served basis. Just bring a government-issued photo ID to borrow one.

If you’re shopping with little ones, Smart Carte strollers are also available for a small fee at Entrance 4.

Family Services

You can warm bottles for free at Guest Services. Plus, there are four family washrooms located throughout the mall—two near the administration office just north of the Food Court, one by the west end washrooms, and one at the east end.

For nursing parents, there’s a dedicated nursing room located in the ladies’ washroom near the administration office.

Ongoing Sales and Promos

Before visiting, check their website for fresh promos and limited-time offers across tons of your favorite brands. From major markdowns at Under Armour and Guess, to outlet exclusives at The Body Shop and Clarks, you can score big without spending big.

Several seasonal sales and bundle deals are going on at any time, too. Think 50% off summer fits, 2 for 1 shoe deals, or beauty bundles like 6 for $78—the best part is that these sales change often, so each visit can bring a new bargain.

Gift Cards

Outlet Collection makes gift-giving super easy with a variety of gift card options. You can choose to mail a physical gift card with a personal message, pick one up right at the centre, or conveniently send an e-gift code.

They also have a corporate gifting option. This is perfect if you’re buying in bulk for staff, clients, or special events.
