5 Best Car Storage Spots in Winnipeg That Have a Loyal Cult Following
My friend, who lives in a condo, bought a car so that he can drive his family around whenever they come to visit. He didn’t really use it much since he works just 2 minutes away, but he figured it was worth the investment.
Sadly, his place only offers street parking. After a month, what he feared would happen, happened—he saw a long, really ugly scratch on his car door.
Yep, there was no way around it; he needed a car storage spot. These places will not only protect your vehicle from damage, but they’ll also shield it from harsh Winnipeg winters and preserve its resale value.
So, don’t wait—safeguard your ride now in one of the best car storage spots in Winnipeg.
How much do car storage services cost in Winnipeg?
Car storage services in Winnipeg cost $80 to $250 per month, depending on the type and level of service.
Unheated outdoor storage is usually the most affordable, while heated indoor units with added security or climate control are on the higher end.

Outdoor parking is available, too—perfect for RVs, trailers, or trucks.
We like that they offer 24/7 security, which is a big deal when you’re trusting someone with your vehicle.
Interested? Give them a call, and they’ll connect you with a storage advisor—they’ll help you find the right unit based on your needs and budget. Plus, they have online deals, where you can score up to 50% off for 12 weeks.
Note that there’s a minimum four-week rental, so it’s not for super short-term use.
Possibly the best customer service I have experienced!
“This was an absolutely positive experience. Darlene is possibly the best customer service I have experienced! Thank you again, and if we ever need storage again, we will deal with the Paramount location in Winnipeg, even though we live in South Winnipeg! Michelle & Jim.”

Received the best service from Access
“Had a great experience with Access Storage right from the start. Every staff member I spoke to really is there to help you with your needs. I’ve contacted a couple of other storage companies, but only received the best service from Access. My friend and I went on-site twice to look at a couple of storage units for short-term and didn’t feel rushed. I got all my questions answered, and they explained everything well. They let us know the promotions and WANTED to work with us to get exactly what we needed. Their customer service, along with price, is why we went ahead with them. I definitely recommend them and plan to use them in the future!”

Access is great, and facilities are top-notch
“Twice in the past decade, I’ve had a situation where I was in-between accommodations for several months, and turned to Total Storage. Their service is outstanding, access is great, and facilities are top-notch. The staff is always accommodating. They are also flexible, readily accommodating a recent request to allow nightly storage of a U-Haul moving truck that I was using for yet another relocation. I would recommend Total Storage to anyone.”

Other services include heated motorcycle and seasonal storage.
Keep in mind that this is not the cheapest option on the list. If you’re on a strict budget, you might need to consider other spots.
Have stored my sports car for the past 12 years or so
“After storing my sports car (indoor-unheated) with Cedar Acres for approximately the past 12 years or so, I figured it’s time that I give them a review. They are very friendly, very organized, and from where I live in East St Paul, extremely convenient, and very reasonably priced. They have taken good care of my vehicle, and when the winter winds are blowing, I know that my ‘baby’ is nice and toasty under cover!! I feel very confident in leaving my car with them every year and would not hesitate to highly recommend them to anyone.”

“I’ve been dealing with the guys over at Butlers for several years now. One of my vehicles is pretty much always parked there! When I return back home and it just so happens that my truck doesn’t turn over, they put in their best efforts to boost it for me. Very friendly staff, never had a hiccup. Round-the-clock security on duty! 10/10 for service, friendliness, and security. Keep up the good work, guys. Really appreciate it!”
