Every dog parent has heard daycare horror stories—pups coming home with fleas or suddenly acting overly skittish around other dogs (or even humans). Nobody wants their fur baby to go through that.

That’s why when I had to choose a spot for my darling Peepers, I really did my research since I only wanted the best for him. A good daycare should keep your pup safe, clean, and happy.

The Dog Circle is a go-to dog facility in South Winnipeg with a simple goal: to treat every pup like its own.

The first thing we noticed is their spacious outdoor area, complete with pools, slides, and artificial turf with gravel patches, so that pups can play safely and comfortably.

As for their day camp, they offer a structured, supervised environment where dogs can improve their social skills and build confidence.

You can choose from their options like Full Day, Half-Day, or a quick Power Hour. If you’re planning to become a regular, they offer monthly and yearly packages.

We love that they provide multiple-dog discounts, too!

But before you get too excited, just a heads up. Your dog is required to undergo a strict behavioral assessment before they can join.

Pros

  • Has a spacious outdoor area

  • Flexible daily, monthly, and yearly packages
  • Offers multiple-dog discounts

Cons

  • Strict behavioral assessment

Best doggy daycare ever!

“Best doggy daycare ever! Dog Circle genuinely cares about our fur babies, and it is not hard to tell from the way my baby smiles every time she arrives. My baby girl made tons of friends at Dog Circle, and thanks to them, she has become happier and more confident. Also, the extremely warm and welcoming staff at Dog Circle have done an excellent job in maintaining a clean and safe environment for the dogs, let alone the lovely things they do every time your doggy spends a day with them! At the end of the day, you will get a daycare report with happy photos so you know how your dog’s day went and who they played with.”

You can tell the staff loves the doggos

“I took my dog to The Dog Circle yesterday for the first time and cannot say enough great things about this place. Although he does great with other dogs & people, I was still nervous leaving him for an entire day, but any nerves were put at ease once I got there. The facility is very clean & spacious, and you can tell the staff loves the doggos as much as their humans do. I left with a very happy & very tired dog, and I cannot wait to bring him back. I also received a report card for the day along with photos of him playing with his new friends, and honestly, touches like that go such a long way. Cannot recommend this place enough.”

Camp Canine is the BEST!!!

“Camp Canine is the BEST!!! We found this place when looking for a trainer for our new pup. After taking the training course, we found out that they also offered daycare. We started with a half day, and our pup Lucy loved it so much that she now goes every week for a full day. Everyone is so unbelievably nice and genuinely cares for all the dogs. Lucy is overly excited when meeting her friends, but the staff always helps her to be nice. The point is that we are paying for daycare, but they still help with “training” as needed with our pup. We also love the “theme days” like Valentine’s Day, etc. They don’t just take your money; they want what’s best for your dog. They also post on IG daily, and we love seeing Lucy having a blast with friends. My wife also can’t wait for Lucy’s report card after each day. Thank you, Camp Canine! We recommend you to everyone.”

I LOVE this doggy daycare

“I LOVE this doggy daycare. Their facility is great, easily accessible, and I have complete trust in their staff. I have taken a class with one of my dogs as well. I felt supported and walked away with more knowledge and confidence. My dogs and I highly recommend this doggy daycare.”

Doesn’t get any better than Pawadise Pet Care

“It doesn’t get any better than Pawadise Pet Care, and our dog Sully knows it, too! As soon as we turn onto the street, Sully starts to get excited for a great day ahead. My girlfriend Brittney and I like how Sully’s experience is well documented while he’s there, so we never truly feel apart. This is an example of Destiny’s first-class communication style throughout the dog’s time there. You just don’t get this level of service at other doggie day cares. When it’s time to pick him up, 9 times out of 10, he can’t even keep his little eyes open because he’s played his heart out during the day. We are so lucky to have met Destiny from Pawadise Pet Care, and it is without any hesitation we FULLY recommend her services to any other paw-rants out there!!”

Treated them as part of their personal family!

“Destiny is the most dedicated and trustworthy person that I have ever left my 2 baby pugs with… We went away for a week, and Destiny made sure to always send videos, pictures, and updates on them. Rebecca and Penny had an awesome time with her and Dixie 🙂 She treated them as part of their personal family! Rebecca keeps going to the day care, and by the end of the day, she is completely happy and exhausted.”

The best place in the city to take your dog

“This is the best place in the city to take your dog. We love it here for our pup. When we first brought our dog there, they were very patient with him, gave a solid review of his readiness (he was a little guy back then), and then we brought him back when he was older. When we did bring him back, they had him with a. Handful of the small guys (I think about 3-5 pups his size), and then integrated him into the larger group of about 10-15 small dogs. Since then, he has been cared for, loved, and missed on days he wasn’t there. He participated in event days, picture days, and even birthday photos. And the daily updates on FB with photos really help put your mind at ease for all new folks.”

— Jelani Dennis (BlackTheRival), Google Review

Happy Tails exceeds my expectations every time!

“Happy Tails exceeds my expectations every time! Jasper and Hudson get really excited every time we pull up to the parking lot. I know they will be taken care of, and they will enjoy their time in a safe environment. Goldie does amazing grooming jobs and lets me know the progress in learning Hudson (still a puppy) has made. 5 stars!!”

They are the best in this business

“I couldn’t recommend this place more. Lisa and her staff are the best. They are the best in this business; they know what they are doing, and they are also very friendly to their customers. Update: Just took my dog there and they still don’t fail to impress me with their service.”

— Jonathan Gentizon, Google Review

Paws Unleashed has been our saving grace!

“Paws Unleashed has been our saving grace! Between the Juvenile classes offered for training and the daycare availability, we have been able to consistently notice improvements within our dog, Shiloh. Lisa and Mateo are amazing people in general, and they’ve always been respectful and knowledgeable when asked questions. Shiloh thinks they’re his best friends and can’t wait for the days he’s dropped off there in the mornings. It’s nice to have a place available in this area with people you trust to keep the dogs safe during the day. It’s also nice to pick up a tired-out pup who lets Momma have a break once in a while, too 😉”
