5 Best RV Storage Facilities in Winnipeg Revealed by Safety-Conscious Rig Owners
A few weeks ago, my uncle thought he was saving a few bucks by parking his RV at a cheap (and TBH, kinda sketchy) storage lot. Big mistake! A few days later, he came back to find broken locks and some missing gear.
Lesson learned: Not all RV storage facilities are created equal. Security and proper maintenance matter because your rig isn’t just a vehicle—it’s an investment.
To help you avoid an RV storage horror story, here’s a list of the best RV storage spots in Winnipeg that rig owners actually trust.
How much does RV storage cost in Winnipeg?
RV storage in Winnipeg typically costs $60 to $250 per month, depending on the RV size, location, and security.
Outdoor RV parking is usually the cheapest, while heated indoor units cost more. Some facilities offer seasonal promos or long-term rental deals.

Total Storage checks a lot of boxes when it comes to RV storage. One of which is 24/7 access to your unit year-round—great if you like hitting the road on your own schedule.
And you’re not just stuck with one size—they offer 10×15, 10×20, and 10×25 options. These can fit small and large RVs, campers, trailers, and even fishing boats!
Security-wise, they’ve got 24-hour digital video monitoring, private security gate access codes, personal unit padlocks, and well-lit driveways. And if you need help, there’s an on-site storage consultant from Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
Another perk—rent is month-to-month, which is suitable if you just need a place for the off-season.
Unfortunately, we heard reports of leaking issues in some of their units. Maybe you’d want to ask them what they do to prevent water damage.
Total Storage Winnipeg wins hands down
“Did some comparison shopping and Total Storage Winnipeg win hands down. First and foremost, the customer service when you walk thru the front door is exceptional! Coming from the customer service industry myself, that will be the make or break points even before the knowledge and prices. Thanks Total Storage. When I’m ready to make decisions, you will be my first stop.”

Pockit Self Storage has several locations, but the only one in the city that has RV storage is the one located on Samborski Drive (South Winnipeg).

5. Butler’s Compound

Address: 2850 Saskatchewan Ave
Phone: (204) 832-2941
Business hours:
- Mon – Fri: 10 AM – 5 PM
- Saturday: 10 AM – 4 PM
Butler’s Compound seems to know a thing or two about keeping vehicles safe, seeing that they’ve been around since 1977. We like that they’re located close to Winnipeg International Airport—a convenient option for frequent travelers.
Rig owners would love their low prices—you can store an RV or camper trailer under 31 feet for just $60 a month. Also, short- and long-term rental options are available, unlike other spots that only offer month-to-month.
And just because it’s cheaper doesn’t mean they skimp on security. They have onsite staff, 24/7 surveillance cameras, and constant monitoring.
One thing we didn’t love—access isn’t 24/7; you can only get your vehicle between 6 AM and 10 PM. This is not a dealbreaker for everyone, but it might not be ideal for super early risers or night riders.
